The coronavirus pandemic has affected all of us. The Association for Accessible Medicines noted that one health-related concern that has not received a lot of media attention is patients’ ability to obtain their prescription medications, and that medicines don’t work if patients can’t take them.

To that end, AAM is inviting Americans to shoot and submit a 10-30 second video telling their experience getting their prescriptions during the COVID-19 health crisis.

AAM offered the following prompts for video text:

“I take generic prescription drugs (or biosimilar medicine) for my…”

“The way I’ve been filling my prescriptions during the coronavirus pandemic is…”

“Compared to before the pandemic, my savings on generics are…”

To submit a video, AAM suggested the following:

  • Post it on social media and tag @accessiblemeds on Twitter
  • Paste the video URL into the comments field on our Share Your Story page.
  • Use WeTransfer to send it to [email protected]
