Abbott’s Juven hits CVS Pharmacy shelves

Juven Therapeutic Nutrition Powder  is getting wide distribution through CVS Pharmacy. The Abbott product, which is formulated to provide essential nutrients in order to support wound healing, launched recently at the retailer in two flavors. 

Juven contains a blend of important amino acids, protein, HMB and vitamins and minerals to provide nutrition that can help with the process of wound healing. The company noted that a 2002 study and a 2014 study found that Juven can help wound healing by enhancing collagen formation in as little as two weeks. 

Juven is available in fruit punch and orange flavors in boxes containing eight packets of the powder. Users are recommended to drink two packets daily, mixed with 8 to 10 oz. of water, juice or other liquid. The company said it should be used under medical supervision. Each 8-count box has a suggested retail price of $24.49.
