Alembic debuts generic Symmetrel

Alembic is introducing amantadine hydrochloride tablets in a dosage strength of 100 mg.

The product is the generic of Endo’s Symmetrel. 

Amantadine hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of signs and symptoms of infection caused by various strains of influenza A virus and in the treatment of parkinsonism and drug-induced extrapyramidal reactions.

Amantadine hydrochloride tablets are available from Alembic in 100-count bottles.
