Alembic rolls out generic Differin Gel

Alembic Pharmaceuticals is introducing its adapalene gel 0.3%, a generic to Differin Gel 0.3%. The product is indicated to treat acne vulgaris in patients 12 years old and older. 

Alembic’s adapalene gel is available in a 45-mg gel tube and a 45-mg gel pump. 

Alembic noted that this is the Bridgewater, N.J.-based company’s 65th product launch since it commenced U.S. operations in October 2015.
