Alkem appoints executive director of its board
Alkem Laboratories has appointed Madhurima Singh to its board as executive director for the next five years.

The appointment, which is effective Dec. 20, is for five years.

Singh holds a Post Graduate Degree in MSc (Botany) with a distinction from Ranchi University and specialization in Plant Pathology and Genetics.
She has completed her Diploma in entrepreneurship from SVKM's Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic Institute and also holds a B.A (first class) in Astronomy from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Mumbai University.

In addition, Singh is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Microbial and Molecular Genetics and is serving as a director of the Maaiya Social Change Front Foundation.
