APhA realigns staff leadership

The American Pharmacists Association is realigning and promoting some of its employees. The organization recently announced the following promotions:

  • Hika Urgessa, director of IT Infrastructure;
  • Jesse Vineyard, editorial director for books and digital publishing;
  • Brian Wall, director of  APhA governance and foundation administration;
  • Thedra White, director of custom education;
  • Yvonne Evans, senior director of employee relations and talent management;
  • Kelly French, senior director of education;
  • Janan Sarwar, senior director of books and digital publishing;
  • Keith Marciniak, vice president of member relations;
  • Mary Warner, vice president of publishing;
  • Windy Christner, associate vice president of meetings and expositions;
  • Lindsay Kunkle, associate vice president of profiles/Advance
  • Shannon Morrison, associate vice president of finance
  •  Mitchel Rothholz, chief of governance and state affiliates, executive director of the APhA Foundation
  • Daniel Zlott, senior vice president of education and business development

Last month, Rafael Saenz joined APhA as chief of staff, and Antonio Ciaccia was welcomed as senior advisor, Disruptive Innovation and Practice Transformation. 

“The profession of pharmacy is at a crossroads,” said Scott Knoer, APhA executive vice president and CEO. “This realignment of staff leadership is designed to make APhA stronger and more effective in providing services to members and delivering a bigger and better future for pharmacists.”
