Aurobindo gains approval for its generic Astepro
The Food and Drug Administration has cleared Aurobindo’s azelastine hydrochloride nasal spray in a dosage strength of 0.15% (205.5 mcg per spray).
The medication is the generic of Mylan Specialty’s Astepro nasal spray.
It is indicated for the relief of the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in patients 6 years of age and older and perennial allergic rhinitis in patients 6 years old and older.
