Aurobindo gets FDA green light for generic Ancobon

The Food and Drug Administration has approved Aurobindo's flucytosine capsules, a generic of Bausch Health's Ancobon capsules. 

The product, which will launch in June, will be available in dosage strengths of 250- and 500 mg.

Flucytosine capsules had a market value of roughly $43 million for the 12 months ended March 2020, according to IQVIA.
