Aurobindo obtains FDA OK for generic Prezista
Darunavir tablets, in combination with other antiretroviral agents, are indicated for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus infection in adult and pediatric patients 3 years of age and older.
Aurobindo has obtained the Food and Drug Administration’s clearance for Darunavir tablets, 600 mg and 800 mg, which is the generic of Janssen’s Prezista.
Darunavir tablets, 600 mg and 800 mg, in combination with other antiretroviral agents, are indicated for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) infection in adult and pediatric patients three years of age and older.

The product, which was launched on Nov. 29, has a market value of roughly $ 274.8 million for the 12 months ending October 2023, per IQVIA.
