Aurobindo has received the Food and Drug Administration's permission for hydrocortisone tablets 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg, which is the generic of Pharmacia and Upjohn’s Cortef.
Hydrocortisone tablets are indicated for the following conditions:
- Endocrine disorders;
- Rheumatic disorders;
- Collagen diseases;
- Dermatologic diseases;
- Allergic states;
- Ophthalmic diseases;
- Respiratory diseases;
- Hematologic disorders;
- Neoplastic diseases;
- Edematous states; and
- Gastrointestinal diseases.
