Garden of Life wants to help consumers build beauty from within.
The Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based company unveiled its new Grass-Fed Collagen collection, which consists of three products that are Non-GMO certified by IGEN, Keto Certified, Certified Paleo friendly, and are NSF Gluten-Free.
"Our passion for helping people achieve extraordinary health starts with using extraordinary ingredients," Garden of Life's president Brian Ray said. "After seeing a tremendous demand for collagen supplements, it was important to us to use ingredients sourced from farmers who have the same values that we uphold. For us, that means farmers who raise healthy cattle that are able to roam free, feed on non-GMO grass, are treated humanely, and not treated with antibiotics and hormones."
The collection inclues:
- Grass Fed Collagen Beauty, which contains a grass-fed Bovine type 1 and III collagen peptides. Formulated to support skin, hair and nails, the product delivers 12 g of grass-fed and pasture-raised collagen, as well as such collagen builders as 10.5 mg silica from organic bamboo, 2500 mg of biotin from sesbania, 45 mg of vitamin C from amla, and 1.5 billion CFU probiotics for digestion. Available in two flavors — cranberry pomegranate and strawberry lemonade — it can be mixed with water or used in shakes and smoothies;
- Grass Fed Collagen Peptides, an unflavored and odorless powder, can be added into any food or beverage. One scoop contains 20 g of grass-fed collagen peptides that help skin elasticity, mobility, and hair and nail strength. It also contains 1.5 billion CFU of lactobacillus planarum probiotics to assist digestion and assimilation; and
- Grass Fed Collagen Turmeric, which can be added into shakes and smoothies, is made with plant-based ingredients. Containing grass-fed bovine collagen and chicken collagen, it has 10 g of of pasture-raised and grass-fed collagen to help joints and mobility. The included 500 mg of fermented turmeric and 50 mg of curcuminoids aids hair, skin and nails; and 1.5 billion CFU probiotics and black pepper aid in absorption and digestion.
