HBA Global Expo announces support of CEW, ICMAD
NEW YORK HBA Global Expo has announced that it is supporting Cosmetic Executive Women and Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors to offer expo attendees professional development and networking opportunities.
The HBA Global Expo will be held Sept. 15 to 17 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
“HBA is proud to support programs offered by CEW and ICMAD. These non-profit organizations provide great value and services to the entire industry and foster professional development and business success,” stated Jill Birkett, event director of HBA Global Expo. “We are pleased that the HBA community can benefit from these associations’ resources and networking opportunities.”
CEW is a nonprofit organization with more than 4,000 executives in the beauty, cosmetics, fragrance and related industries. ICMAD is a nonprofit trade group that provides programs and services to cosmetic and personal care companies.
As sponsors of the annual CEW Beauty Awards, HBA met with more than 2,000 CEW members during the Beauty Awards Demonstration in early February.
Visitors to the HBA table received current information on HBA’s programming and an exclusive discount on HBA's trade show and educational forum in September.
Throughout the year, HBA also works with CEW to provide its entire membership with beneficial discounts and incentives to its programs and gives them access to industry suppliers who provide products and services to the beauty, fragrance and personal industries.
With ICMAD, HBA sponsors the Young Designer Competition that recognizes innovative design talent in personal care packaging. The annual competition encourages and develops young creative talent that will help build the future of the cosmetics industry. The winners of the year?s competition will be announced Sept. 16 during the HBA Global Expo in New York.
Also at the HBA event in September, ICMAD produces a conference session called “Building Your Company from Concept to Market,” geared toward entrepreneurial small- to mid-sized companies. The session also provides information on how to survive, as well as thrive, during tough economic time. HBA also offers ICMAD members special discounts and incentives on all of its educational offerings.
