Healey appointed as group president of P&G’s North America business
CINCINNATI Procter & Gamble’s Melanie Healey, group president of P&G’s global feminine health care, is assuming the new role of group president of North America, effective Oct. 1, according to published reports.
Steven Bishop, president of P&G’s North America business, will then become president of global feminine care. Assuming responsibility over the health care portion will be Thomas Finn, who will remain president of global health care.
Commenting on the changes, a P&G spokesman was quoted as saying the moves are a “standard rotational development of leadership.”
Healey joined the company in 1990 after working as a brand manager and marketing assistant for Johnson & Johnson. Bishop joined P&G in 1984 as an assistant purchasing manager in its U.S. foods division.
