L’Oréal USA is welcoming a new president to the L’Oréal Paris’ USA leadership division.
The company recently announced that Ali Goldstein would be taking over the role of president, effective October 1.
Goldstein, who brings 18 years of L’Oréal business strategy and marketing experience to the role, has held positions in the consumer products division and was also previously the vice president of marketing for Maybelline, as well as the senior vice president of marketing for Garnier.
Most recently, she was the general manager of new ventures and acquisitions for the company’s consumer products division. Her career with the company began in the hair color division, the company said.
“Ali is a trusted, strategic leader who I am confident will continue to grow L’Oréal Paris across categories,” Nathalie Gerschtein, the president of the L’Oréal USA consumer products division, said. ”Her understanding of the L’Oréal culture and commitment to innovation have had a long-standing impact on our teams and our business. We’re thrilled to have her at the helm of our largest brand in the US.”
Goldstein will be taking over the position from Tim Coolican, who has chosen to pursue a new chapter of his career outside of L’Oréal, the company said.
