Products You Love, SpaLife win DSN/ECRM Buyers’ Choice Awards

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Products You Love, a Laguna Beach, Calif.-based supplier of beauty accessories, was the winner of the 2017 ECRM/Drug Store News Buyers Choice Award for its Polish Pal patented nail polish holder. The award was presented during ECRM’s Cosmetics, Fragrance & Bath EPPS held last month in Jacksonville, Fla. SpaLife, a Rahway, N.Y.-based supplier of natural at-home beauty treatments, was a finalist for its line of handmade fruit soaps.

The two companies were selected from dozens of entries in the award program, samples of which were displayed in the ECRM hospitality area during the EPPS meetings. Buyers cast their votes based on product innovation and packaging.

Recently launched Polish Pal is designed to accommodate any size nail polish bottle and to comfortably and securely fit the user’s hand, enabling them to paint their nails anywhere – even while on the go. Founder Alex Friedman created Polish Pal as a sophomore in college after she ruined her favorite dress trying to paint her nails while in the passenger seat of her friend’s car. Her prototype received a utility patent in December 2015. Within a year, Polish Pal was a fully-developed product and had amassed more than 30,000 social media followers,

SpaLife’s Fresh-Picked Fruit Soaps are handmade in Thailand with all-natural ingredients and are developed to look and smell like such real fruits as bananas, pears, peaches and pineapples, and add color to the décor of any bathroom.

The products are part of the company’s line of products aimed at bringing the spa experience into the home, including natural soaps, beauty tools and sheet masks. Its line of natural extract fruit facial masks debuted in Target January 2017.
