Softlips debuts Oasis lip balm
Softlips wants to help consumers keep their lips moisturized.
To help target soft lips, the Horsham, Pa.-based company is introducing consumers to its new Oasis lip balm.
Infused with hyaluronic acid tor all-day hydration, sea mineral water for smoothness and sea algae to restore the natural lip barrier, Oasis also contains water-lock technology for up to 12 hours of hydration.
"In order to bring to market our best hydrating lip balm, the R&D teams of Mentholatum USA and Rohto Japan partnered to create a new Softlips product that both attracts moisture to the lips and locks it in. Most other lip balms create a moisture barrier that does not allow environmental water to add to lip moisture the way Softlips water-lock technology does, so this is true innovation!" Erick Estrada, the head of marketing at Mentholatum, a division of Rohto Pharmaceutical, said. "Also, the new Softlips Oasis lip balms provide awesome fruit-water infused flavors for refreshing enjoyment with the long lasting hydration to keep lips looking healthy and beautiful."
In addition, the brand’s latest launch also helps prevent sunburn by containing SPF 15.
Available in three flavors — pineapple and coconut, peach and mango, and strawberry and kiwi — shoppers can currently find Softlips Oasis at CVS Pharmacy and Wegmans.
The lip balm also will launch at Amazon, Albertsons, Safeway and H-E-B in the coming future, the company said.
