Steripod launches travel-size single pack for its toothbrush protector

LOS ANGELES — Bonfit America on Thursday announced the introduction of a single pack offering for its Steripod clip-on toothbrush protector. Steripod uses thymol to release active vapors, which can keep a toothbrush fresh for up to three months, the company said.

"I absolutely love Steripod toothbrush protectors, and now with the new singles-pack, it's easier than ever to make sure I always have one in my gym bag or when I travel," Health Magazine contributing editor and celebrity yoga instructor Kristin McGee said.  "Most people don't realize your toothbrush can contain more germs than your toilet, so it's important to keep your bristles safe and protected. The Steripod single pack is currently selling at Target stores nationwide, as well as on Amazon.com and GetSteripod.com for a suggested retail price of $3.99. The product also is available in a two-pack with a SRP of $5.99 and an eight-pack for $19.99.

The company has inked a partnership with Her Campus — a global community for college women — to bring Steripod to more than 270 campuses nationwide. It also is offering consumers the opportunity to win weekly prizes throughout April and May by sharing photos of where they take their Steripod toothbrush protectors on Instagram, tag @getsteripod and use the hashtag #MyPodLife.
