Tom’s of Maine is continuing to change up the oral care game.
The Kennebunk, Maine.-based company is introducing shoppers to its new Whole Care Toothbrush, which it says has a handle that is made from 80% post-consumer recycled plastic.
Designed with cross-angled and multi-height bristles, the brush looks to help remove plaque between the teeth and gently clean down to the gum line. It even has a raised tip to access those hard-to-reach areas, the company said.
"Our Whole Care Toothbrush offers an eco-conscious option that was carefully designed to provide both efficacy and comfort," Paul Jessen, the senior oral care brand manager at Tom's of Maine said. "As the #1 natural oral care brand, Tom's of Maine is constantly working to develop new products that will help families live a naturally healthy lifestyle."
In addition, the brush’s BPA-free bristles are colored with food-grade, mineral-based pigments and recyclable through the brand's collection program with upcycling leader TerraCycle, the company said.
Shoppers can find Tom’s of Maine Whole Care Toothbrush in four unique colors in a single, which retails for $3.99 or twin packs for $6.49 at Amazon, Target and Whole Foods. Further information on how the company makes its products can be found on its website.
