ToothTunes adds two new brush lines

3/10/2008

PAWTUCKET, R.I. ToothTunes from Tiger Electronics, which uses proprietary technology that encourages people of all ages to brush for two minutes, has introduced its new ToothTunes Junior and Turbo ToothTunes toothbrushes.

How ToothTunes work: The brushes feature patented sound transmission technology that transmits songs and music vibrations from the bristles, through the teeth, to the inner ear. Users will hear two minutes (the amount of time generally recommended by dentists) of music from some of today’s hottest artists.

New this fall is ToothTunes Junior specially designed for little hands and mouths. Each ToothTunes Junior toothbrush is edited with one minute of preschool-friendly music and encouraging phrases to motivate and congratulate little ones while they brush. Children will hear one motivational phrase as they begin to brush their teeth, another phrase in the middle of the cycle to encourage them, and one phrase at the end to reward them for brushing.

Turbo ToothTunes, available this spring, features new and improved sound technology. The collection includes such titles as Mily Cyrus as “Hannah Montana” and Rihanna.

The toothbrushes retail for about $9.99 each.
