YouCam beauty app launches 'Makeup Mashup' feature

NEW YORK -- YouCam Makeup has added even more innovation to its flagship beauty app.

Perfect Corp. announced that the app will now offer live video recording. The new feature captures the makeover process in real-time, including users’ facial expressions, the augmented reality beauty effects and the surrounding environment. The new “Makeup Mashup” featured was designed for users to explore different makeover looks with one-click and effortlessly share the results in fun videos clips, according to the company.

Once a user has captured a video of a virtual makeover it can be instantly shared. Featuring foundation, lipstick, blush, eyebrow, eyeliner, eye shadow and eyelash brand options, as well as the entire collection of complete makeup looks pre-coded into the app, the new video recording feature will define the future of beauty for Perfect Corp.’s thriving community of over 200 million beauty lovers, the company said.
