Ben & Jerry’s new Topped flavors evoke nostalgia
Ben & Jerry’s wants to help consumers unlock a childhood memory.
The Burlington, Vt.-based company is jumping into the past with its own twist on classic treats.
Sweets involved in this nostalgic take include those with chocolate milk and cookies, and the classic pudding and cookie crumb dessert known as dirt cake, the company said.

New launches from the popular ice cream brand’s Topped line include:
- Topped Chocolate Milk and Cookies, featuring chocolate ice cream with chocolate chip cookies, it also has chocolate cookie swirls that are topped with a milky chocolate ganache and fudge chips; and
- Topped Dirt Cake, containing vanilla pudding ice cream with chocolate sandwich cookies and a chocolate cookie swirl, it is topped with a milk chocolate ganache and chocolate cookie crumble.

“The 2021 Topped lineup was one of our most successful innovation launches ever,” said Ben & Jerry's flavor guru, Colleen Rossell. “So, we can’t wait for fans to literally DIG into these new flavors. If you’re looking for a treat loaded with nostalgia that brings you back — these two new Topped flavors deliver.”
Consumers will be able to find Topped Chocolate Milk and Cookies and Topped Dirt Cake varieties on shelves across the United States in the first quarter of 2022 at the suggested retail price that ranges from $4.99 to $5.49 each.
