Betty Crocker channels spring via cookie, cupcake kits

Betty Crocker is getting into a lighter spirit by unveiling its latest collection of seasonal launches.

Featuring frosting, cookie and cupcake kits, the collection consists of partnerships with such brands as Dunkaroos, Reese’s and Hershey’s Kisses.

“Families are seeking more in-home experiences and activities, and baking is a great outlet. A recent Instagram poll revealed that 97% of the more than 1,000 respondents shared that they’ve been baking more during quarantine, and 98% said they will keep baking after quarantine,” Amanda Burlison, senior brand manager of Betty Crocker said. “We’re glad that consumers are re-discovering a love for baking during these strange times. Our spring baking kits offer unique opportunities to find joy, connect with those you love and share sweet moments together.”

Products part of the launch include:

  • Dunakroos Frosting, which is available in a vanilla frosting with rainbow sprinkles option that retails for $1.99;
  • Reese’s Pieces Surprise Cupcake Kit, which retails for $4.98, includes a chocolate cupcake mix, green frosting, orange Reese’s Pieces to fill the cupcake centers and cupcake liners;
  • Hershey’s Kisses Blossom Cookie Kit, which contains sugar cookies, pastel sprinkles and Hershey’s Kisses, retails for $4.98;
  • Giant Cookie Kit, which retails for $4.99, includes sugar cookie mix, vanilla frosting, sprinkles shaped like chicks, ducks and bunnies, and parchment paper with an egg drawing to help perfect the shape; and
  • Lemon Cookie Mix, which retails for $2, is a limited-edition cookie mix that features sweet and lemon flavors.

Shoppers can find Betty Crocker’s limited-edition seasonal mixes and kits at grocery retailers across the nation.
