Blake’s Hard Cider is getting a jump start on the pumpkin spice and apple cider season.
The Armada, Mich.-based company is adding two new fall-inspired flavors to its current roster of offerings — caramel apple and apple lantern.
Inspired by Blake’s Farms hand-dipped cider mill caramel apples, the semi-sweet hard cider contains a blend of caramel and tart green apple flavors.
On the other hand, the apple lantern offering looks to mesh together to the taste of hand-picked apples with the taste of oven-roasted pumpkin, the company said.
“Growing up on the farm in Michigan, cider has always been synonymous with cool fall days, tailgates with friends, bonfires and pumpkin carving,” Andrew Blake, owner of BHC said. “Our Caramel Apple and Apple Lantern hard cider flavors bring fall to you and evoke those childhood memories. These flavors have been extremely popular at the orchard's tasting room for years. We listened to our fans and are now proud to share them with the rest of America.”
Made from a combination of five fresh-pressed Michigan apples that have been harvested on Blake’s Orchard, both new offerings are natural, gluten-free and do not contain artificial flavorings or sweeteners, the company said.
Blake’s caramel apple and apple lantern flavors will be available in a pack of six 12-oz. cans throughout the company’s 15 state footprint at major independent stores and grocery chains.
