Borden enters the salsa game

Borden Dairy is entering the salsa category by adding its own twist to the dip.

The Dallas-based company is launching a collection of pre-made creamy salsas that combine its flavors with light sour cream.

“Borden Creamy Salsa is a truly unique product offering, with no other salsa/sour cream combination currently offered on a wide scale,” national sales and marketing director, Mike Arsenault said. “With Borden Creamy Salsa, you get a fresh, delicious, one-of-a-kind snack your family will love along with the trusted name of Borden.”

Available in three options — fire roasted creamy salsa, hot creamy salsa, and mild creamy salsa — each comes in a 12-oz. container that retails from $2,99 to $3.49.
