Shoppers on the hunt for Bubbies Homemade Ice Cream & Desserts can now head to their nearest Sam’s Club to pick up a flavor of its Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites.
The Phoenix-based company announced the launch of two new flavors — vanilla chocolate chip and strawberry sugar cookie dough — that will be at more than 580 of the retailer’s shelves.
"Our expansion within Sam's Club speaks to the popularity and trendiness of our cookie dough ice cream bites, which appeal broadly to customers who already know us for our mochi ice cream," Rick Schaffer, CEO of Bubbies Homemade Ice Cream and Desserts, said. "Consumers are continuously looking for great-tasting treats that complement a lifestyle of moderation and our cookie dough ice cream bites answer that desire. As a result of the demand, we expect to announce additional distribution before the end of the year."
Each of Bubbies’ Cookie Dough Ice Cream Bites contain ice cream wrapped in a cookie dough batter that is free of eggs and made with ingredients that are safe for consumption in an unbaked form, the company said.
In addition, cookie dough ice cream bites, which feature 130 calories or less per serving, are gluten-free, non-GMP and contain no rBST.
The product retails for $8.98. Bubbies recommends using the store locator on its website to find an exact location that sells the frozen treat.
