Camber Pharmaceuticals launches generic Inspra

Camber is debuting eplerenone tablets, which is the generic of Inspra.
Eplerenone tablets are an aldosterone antagonist indicated for improving the survival of stable patients with symptomatic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction after an acute myocardial infarction and the treatment of hypertension to lower blood pressure.

Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes, Camber noted.
Eplerenone tablets are available in 25 and 50 mg strengths in 30- and 90-count bottles.
