A&W, Sunkist unveil first ice cream float in a bottle

PLANO, Texas A&W Root Beer and Sunkist Soda have recreated the rich, creamy frothiness of an ice cream float and put it in a bottle. The resulting A&W and Sunkist Floats—unveiled today—are the first-of-their-kind beverages that deliver a real float experience unlike anything consumers have experienced before.

Available in 11.5-ounce vintage glass bottles with twist-off tops inspired by old-time soda shops, A&W and Sunkist Floats can be found at major retail, grocery and convenience stores nationwide. They retail for a suggested $1.79 for a single-serve bottle and $5.99 for a four-pack.
