Babybel's cheese and crackers simplify snacking

Snacking on Babybel cheese just took on a whole new meaning thanks to the Chicago-based company's latest on-the-go snacking innovation.

The well-known cheese brand, which is part of the Bel Brands USA family, is introducing consumers to its new cheese and cracker offerings, which contain 100% real cheese and an added crunch, the company said.

Available in a variety of three options — original paired with mini butter crackers, white cheddar paired butter crackers and light paired with whole-grain wheat crackers — each pack also contains 90 calories, protein and calcium.

“As families continue to snack more frequently and in more on-the-go occasions, it was a natural evolution to pair our already delicious cheese with its other half — the cracker — in a package that's convenient for families,” Shannon Maher, brand director of Babybel, said.

Babybel’s cheese and crackers can be found in the dairy aisle at major retailers and come in a one-count pack that retails for $1.29 and a three-count pack for $3.49. The brand also is encouraging consumers to share their cheese and crackers moments on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube by tagging @Babybel or @BabybelUS in the post.
