Barilla pushes healthy whole grain pastas
CHICAGO Barilla has created a line of healthier pasta options, Barilla Whole Grain, for those shoppers who are trying to integrate more whole grains into their diets.
Barilla claims that the Barilla Whole Grain items are all natural and a good source of fiber. The new items were designed to be better tasting than previously produced whole grain pastas.
Barilla Whole Grain pastas are available in four shapes: penne, rotini, spaghetti and thin spaghetti. Each item will be comparably priced to the traditional Barilla pastas at around 1.39 per 13.25 oz package.
