Blue Diamond is continuing to expand the Almond Breeze portfolio.
The Sacramento, Calif.-based company announced the launch of the new Almond Breeze Almondmilk Horchata, which is a dairy-free take on the Latin American flavor.
Crafted with California-grown almonds, the flavor looks to balance tradition with the brand’s commitment to further plant-based innovations, the company said.
“We’ve deepened our commitment to our customers and raised the bar with this plant-based take on a cherished classic,” Suzanne Hagener, the director of brand marketing said. “Delicious almondmilk beverages are what we do best and we are thrilled to diversify our Almond Breeze portfolio with another satisfying dairy-free alternative. Made with our Latin American community in mind, this beverage will satisfy our consumers who are looking for a refreshing, delicious-tasting drink.”
Featuring hints of cinnamon and vanilla, the beverage can be served over ice as a standalone drink or poured over cereal, added to smoothies and coffee, among other ways.
In addition, Almond Breeze Almondmilk Horchata contains bilingual packaging in English and Spanish.
The drink can be found on in major retailers across the southwest, as well as New York and New England throughout June 2019.
