Boulder Canyon intros buffalo ranch, sweet chipotle chips
Boulder Canyon is expanding its line of Rice Bran Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips by adding to new varieties.
The Phoenix-based company is introducing the buffalo ranch and sweet chipotle options, which are cooked in 100% pure rice bran oil, the company said.
“We constantly look for innovative ways to bring our unique flavor combinations to life, particularly when paired with the distinctive oils used to cook our chips," said Steve Sklar, Senior Vice President for Boulder Canyon Authentic Foods. “Rice bran oil allows us to cook at a higher temperature, which is ideal for delivering the smoky flavor notes that complement Buffalo Ranch, Sweet Chipotle and our existing Roasted Jalapeno varieties.”
Each of Boulder Ranch’s offerings feature clean ingredients, contain no cholesterol, are gluten-free and Kosher certified, the company said.
The Rice Bran Kettle Cooked Potato Chips are sold in grocery, natural food, club and mass retailers for the suggested retail price of $3.49 per 5.25-oz. package.
