Bubbies Mochi Ice Cream is bringing a whole new level of sweetness to the freezer aisle.
The Aiea, Hawaii-based brand announced that it would be releasing two limited edition flavors — strawberry rhubarb and Meyer lemon — at select locations for a limited time.
“As demand and tastes for mochi ice cream continue to grow, we enjoy experimenting with different ways to integrate the natural, seasonal ingredients and flavors people crave into Bubbies,” Rick Schaffer, CEO of Bubbies Ice Cream, said. “During summer months, people often think about cones or frozen pops to cool down, but the great texture of mochi paired with its snackable size and fresh flavors make Bubbies a hit.”
Both products contain bite-sized ice cream that’s wrapped in a sweetened rice dough and features a soft and chewy exterior.
All of the brand’s products are gluten-free, contain kosher dairy, feature no rbst or genetically modified ingredients, the company said.
Bubbies’ Mochi Ice Cream in limited-edition strawberry rhubarb and Meyer lemon will be sold individually for the suggested retail price of $2 each.
