Califia Farms is jumping on the popular oat milk trend by unveiling two new entries into the category.
The Los Angeles-based company, which creates plant-based products, has unveiled its new Oat Barista Blend and Unsweetened Oatmilk products.
The Oat Barista blend, launching in February, is made with North American whole grain and gluten-free oats. It is unsweetened and does not contain gum or stabilizers, the company said.
"In many ways, the global barista community leads cultural changes in coffee and milk consumption, and w'ere early adopters to almond milk and now oat milk," Greg Steltenpohl, founder and CEO of Califia Farms, said. "Since our first production of almond milk in 2012, and carrying this success with many coconut-based offerings, Califia has been a leader in innovation by bringing diversified plant-based products to market. We've been a dependable partner to the specialty coffee trade for some time now, and offering a new Oatmilk Barista Blend was a clear next step to help cafés reliably meet their customers' demand and quality expectations."
The brand’s Unsweetened Oatmilk, which is launching in April in the company’s signature carafe, also is crafted from North American whole grain and gluten-free oats. It also does not contain gum or stabilizers, the company said.
