Carvel brings the crunch with new Ice Cream Crunchie cakes
Fans of Carvel’s ice cream cakes will now have a bigger selection of options to choose from.
The Atlanta-based company unveiled four new Crunchie Cakes, which come in strawberry and chocolate as well as limited-edition mint and orange varieties.
Each of the cakes has crunchies layered on the inside and on the top and sides to ensure extra crunch, the company said.
“Carvel is famous for its legendary crunchies, so we're excited to be able to bring the new Ice Cream Crunchie Cakes to fans across the country,” Dave Mikita, president of global channels at Focus Brands, said. “There doesn't need to be a birthday or holiday happening in order to enjoy one of these specialty cakes. The return of the warm weather — and pure deliciousness — is reason enough.”
The rounds cakes serve up to six people and are available at select retailers including ShopRite, Publix, Giant Eagle, Food Lion, BJ’s Wholesale Club and Harris Teeter for the suggested retail price of $11.99.
