Coca-Cola intros orange vanilla-infused flavors
Fans of Coca-Cola now have not one, but two new beverages to try.
The company unveiled its new Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar beverages, which contain the classic orange and vanilla flavor combo.
Both new launches — the first in more than a decade to join the flavor portfolio — were created from the idea of having fun with perfection and celebrate the creation of Coke’s unforgettable taste over 133 years ago, the company said.
“What we realized is that we had a diamond in the rough when we looked at our flavors portfolio,” Kate Carpenter, brand director, Coca-Cola, said. “The growth of Cherry Coke and Vanilla Coke – and their zero-calorie variants – has been really strong in recent years even with very limited marketing support.”
Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar will be available nationwide in 12-oz. cans and 20-oz. PET bottles beginning Feb. 25. The beverages also will be available for a limited time in 12-oz. cans from March to May.
“We wanted to bring back positive memories of carefree summer days,” Carpenter explained. “That’s why we leaned into the orange-vanilla flavor combination – which is reminiscent of the creamy orange popsicles we grew up loving, but in a classically Coke way.”
