Decas releases ‘super-charged’ fruit snacks for summer
CARVER, Mass. Decas has released its Fruitaceuticals line of premium, all-natural, fruit snacks for children, “super-charged” with antioxidants.
“Parents who are looking for ways to help their kids develop healthy eating habits can get a big boost with Fruitaceuticals,” director of sales and marketing of Decas Botanical Synergies [maker of Fruitaceuticals], Dan Souza, said. “They help kids start to eat more fruits on a regular basis, and improve their daily nutritional intake as well.”
Fruitaceuticals are dried Cape Cod cranberries enriched with antioxidant-rich pomegranates or omega oils. They come in two varieties: PomaCrans, cranberries with pomegranate juice; and OmegaCrans, cranberries enhanced with cranberry seed oil and a uniquely balanced blend of omegas 3,6 and 9.
Fruitaceuticals can be eaten out of the bag, mixed into cereal or yogurt, or used as a topping on salads or ingredient in trail mixes.
