Fresh Express intros slaw salads
Fresh Express is unveiling a new way to enjoy salads.
The Orlando, Fla.-based company is introducing its new Premium Slaw Salad Kits, which look to bring diner favorite slaws into the comfort of homes.
Developed by the brand’s culinary team, each recipe takes its cue from current restaurant menu trends, the company said.
"Consumers continue to look for new and delicious meal options that replicate chef-crafted dishes they enjoy when dining out, and we wanted to provide high quality, affordable salads that make it easy to recreate restaurant favorites families can enjoy at home," Michael Golderman, the marketing brand leader for Fresh Express said. "Our chefs at the Fresh Express Innovations Kitchen carefully selected flavor combinations and unique ingredients to create three restaurant quality offerings that can serve as a side, a topping for burgers or sliders, or eaten on its own, making every meal special, exciting, yet deliciously easy and simple."

- Asian Avocado Premium Slaw, which has red, green and Napa cabbage, kale, cauliflower stalks, honey-roasted sesame chips, wonton strips, corn kernels, edamame, and an Asian avocado dressing;
- Honey Pecan Premium Slaw, which contains red and green cabbage, arugula, kale, cauliflower stalks, bleu cheese crumbles, raisins, candied praline pecans and a honey mustard dressing; and
- Smoked BBQ Sriracha Premium Slaw, which features red and green cabbage, Brussel sprouts, broccoli stalks, carrots, red pepper crisps, sriracha chow mein noodles, and smoked BBQ sriracha dressing.
