Fruitlove brings fruit, veggies together in spoonable smoothie

6/24/2019
Fruitlove, a new brand from the Kraft Heinz portfolio, is looking to change the way consumers snack.

Looking to add a new twist to the smoothie game, the Pittsburgh and Chicago-based company unveiled the Fruitlove spoonable smoothie.

“We know that snacking is both functional and emotional and Americans want more from the foods they snack on — more flavor, nutrition and a better overall taste experience,” Nicole Kulwicki, the head of brand building at Fruitlove said. “Fruitlove was born from the idea that we could create a better and more exciting way to snack on smoothies.”

Combining the benefits of yogurt with a mix of fruit and vegetables, and an added green spoon, the product contains three or more fruits and vegetables, as well as calcium, protein and vitamins A, B1 and B3, the company said.

Featured flavors include:

  • Strawberry Banana Twirl, which is made with strawberry, banana, rhubarb, raspberry and carrot;

  • Harvest Berry Blend, which has strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, banana, carrot and beet;

  • Mango Medley, which is made with banana, pineapple, carrot and mango;

  • Pineapple Coconut Bliss, which has banana, pineapple, squash and coconut; and

  • Blueberry Dream, which is made with banana, apple, squash and blueberry.

Consumers can find Fruitlove in the yogurt aisle of grocery stores across the nation and Amazon Fresh locations for the suggested retail price of $1.99.
