Healthy Food Brands candies now available at Walmart stores

NEW YORK New better-for-you confections now are available at Walmart, thanks to Healthy Food Brands.

The chain is offering three new varieties of Simply Lite high cacao-content chocolate and Sunkist sugar-free hard candies made with real fruit juice. Simply Lite are gluten-free chocolate bars available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate and dark chocolate with almonds. Sunkist sugar-free hard candies are sweetened with real fruit juice and Splenda, and are available in such classic and exotic flavors as strawberry, lemon, cherry, orange, pineapple, kiwi, mango and passion fruit.

“Initial response from Walmart customers has been extremely positive,” said Healthy Food Brands VP Russ Asaro. “Walmart is extremely selective about the brands they bring out nationally, so we’re excited by the validation they’ve given to our products.”
