Tons of ice cream brands are going the dairy-free route, and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is the latest to join the growing trend.
The Columbus, Ohio-based company, which was founded in 2002 and is now a Certified B Corporation, announced the launch of its new dairy-free collection, featuring four flavors.
Made with pure coconut cream, the collection was created by using ingredients that lived up to the brand’s standards of flavor and quality, the company said.
"This is dairy-free ice cream that's not jealous of dairy, made by people who love dairy," Jeni Britton Bauer, founder of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, said. "Bringing people together is the core of what Jeni's is all about — building and inspiring our community. Featured varieties of the dairy-free collection include dark chocolate truffle, cold brew with coconut cream, Texas sheet cake, and roasted peanut butter & strawberry jam.
