John Brock takes over as Coca-Cola chairman
SAN FRANCISCO Coca-Cola Enterprises said Monday its board will name president and chief executive officer John Brock to the additional post of chairman following the company’s annual meeting of shareholders on April 22.
Brock will succeed Lowry Kline, who is retiring. Kline has been chairman since April of 2002. Brock joined the company as president, chief executive officer and member of the board of directors in May 2006
Shares of the Atlanta-based company rose 18 cents to $23.46 following the announcement.
