Kashi adds new steam meal dinners for two

LA JOLLA, Calif. — Kashi, a natural food and lifestyle company, announced today its new Kashi Chicken and Chipotle BBQ Steam Meal and Italian Vegetable Medley Pasta Steam Meal, two additions to Kashi's Steam Meal line. The new entrees provide a meal for two people in each bag.

Like Kashi's existing single-serve varieties, microwave steam is used to preserve the quality of the ingredients. Each features the Kashi Seven Whole Grain blend and offers 42 g or more of whole grains per serving:

• Kashi Chicken and Chipotle BBQ Steam Meal: A combination of juicy mangoes, roasted green beans, red onion, and red and green peppers is paired with tender white-meat chicken, mixed with a sweet chipotle BBQ sauce, and served over Kashi Seven Whole Grains and Sesame Pilaf. The meal offers 43 g whole grains, 15 g protein, and 6 g fiber per serving.


• Kashi Italian Vegetable Medley Pasta Steam Meal: The savory combination of oven-dried tomatoes, edamame, crisp broccoli, red peppers, carrots and yellow squash is blended with a creamy marinara sauce and tossed with a perfectly-cooked Kashi 7 Whole Grain Rotini Pasta. The meal provides 42 g whole grains, 14 g protein and 8 g fiber per serving.
