Lipton launches fruit-infused iced herbal teas

6/4/2018
Summertime tea just got a whole new look.

Lipton, which part of Unilever's portfolio of brands, recently unveiled its new offerings for the summer, and two iced herbal teas made the cut. Both of the new launches from the brand contain no added sweeteners, artificial flavors or caffeine, the company said.

The two new additions to the Englewood Cliffs, N.J.-based company’s portfolio include:

  • Lipton Strawberry Watermelon Iced Herbal Tea, which contains strawberry and melon flavors blended with chamomile and hibiscus; and

  • Lipton Mango Iced Herbal Tea, which features rosehips, chamomile, licorice root, lemongrass and orange peel.

Both beverages are made with tea leaves that are picked at the peak of freshness and brewed for a smooth taste, the company said.

“We know families are looking for delicious alternatives to water that are healthy and families will enjoy,” George Hamilton, tea director at Unilever, said. “Our new Lipton Iced Herbal Teas are just as hydrating as water, but pack much more flavor. They're the perfect addition to any summertime family meal, from BBQs to picnics.”

Both herbal teas are available in 16-count boxes of family-sized bags of tea at grocery stores nationwide for the suggested retail price of $3 to $3.50.
