Magnum Ice Cream takes its tubs to the next level

Magnum Ice Cream announced that it is expanding on its previously launched line of tubs of chocolate-encased products by unveiling its new Magnum Double Ice Cream Tubs.

Created with ice cream and milk chocolate shards, Double Tubs are available in four flavors and have a shell made of Belgian chocolate, the Englewood Cliffs, N.J.-based company, part of the Unilever portfolio of brands, said.

The line’s four varieties include:

  • Magnum Double Sea Salt Caramel, which has vanilla ice cream, swirls of sea salt caramel sauce and milk chocolate shards in a cracking shell;

  • Magnum Double Cookie Crumble, which features ice cream, swirls of chocolate cookie sauce and milk chocolate shards;

  • Magnum Double Chocolate & Ganache, which contains chocolate ice cream, swirls of chocolate ganache sauce and milk chocolate shards; and

  • Magnum Double Cherry Truffle, which has cherry ice cream, swirls of cherry sauce and milk chocolate shards.


"In 2018, we launched Magnum Tubs, a first of a kind indulgent ice cream experience, and this year we're offering even more ways for fans to indulge with our new Magnum Double Ice Cream Tubs," Leslie Miller, director of ice cream of North America, said. "Each of our Double Tubs flavors comes from one of our classic bars like our most-loved flavor Magnum Double Caramel Ice Cream Bar. This favorite has been reimagined into our New Double Sea Salt Caramel Tub, which gives fans that same delicious taste and fine premium ingredients in an unapologetically indulgent experience."

The new Magnum Double Ice Cream Tubs, which join its collection of seven existing classic tubs, can be found in the ice cream aisle of grocery stores and at mass retailers nationwide for the suggested retail price of $4.49 to $5.99.
