Fans of M&M’s should prepare themselves to enjoy their favorite candy in a whole new way.
The Hackettstown, N.J.-based company announced that two new launches — chocolate bars and hazelnut spread chocolate candies — would be joining the brand’s permanent lineup.
The first new addition, the M&M’s chocolate bars, which will hit shelves in December 2018, consisting of milk chocolate with whole M&M’s minis visible throughout a large and shareable format. The candy will come in five varieties — a 3.9-oz. peanut, 4.0-oz. milk chocolate, 3.8-oz. crispy, 3.9-oz. almond and 3.8-oz. crispy mint.
Second to join the lineup is the hazelnut spread chocolate candies, which contain a hazelnut spread center that’s covered in milk chocolate. Consumers will be able to find the treat on shelves beginning April 2019 in teal packaging that comes in 1.35-oz. singles, 2.53-oz. shareables, and 8.3-oz. sharing stand up pouches.
