Nestlé Toll House intros snack made with only three ingredients
Nestlé Toll House is launching two new snacks that are made with only three high-quality ingredients.
The new Simply Delicious Morsels by Nestlé Toll House contain cocoa butter, pure cane sugar and 100%-real chocolate. Each snack also is free of such popular food allergens as peanut, tree nut, milk, egg soy, fish and shellfish, the company said.
“We are thrilled to launch Simply Delicious Morsels because we believe the exceptional taste of Nestlé Toll House should be enjoyed and shared by everyone,” Haig Basmadjian, marketing director at Nestlé Toll House, said. “Simply Delicious Morsels are a great option for bakers who want to feel confident that the ingredients they are using are high-quality, taste great and are safe for all to enjoy, including those with any of the eight major food allergies.”
Coming in two varieties — semi-sweet and 67% dark chocolate — the Solon, Ohio-based company is encouraging consumers to read the ingredient list and look for the teal ribbon across the packaging, which signals allergen-free snacks.
