Quest Nutrition debuts tortilla style protein chips

For those who snack on chips, Quest Nutrition has new a protein-packed option.

The Los Angeles-based brand is introducing consumers to its new loaded taco tortilla style protein chips, which contain 19 g of protein and 4 g of net carbs per bag, the company said.

"Americans consume more than 4.5 billion tacos every year, so in our quest to offer better-for-you versions of the most craveable foods, we knew we had to make a taco-flavored chip that delivered on taste with no nutritional compromise," Suzanne Ginestro, the chief marketing officer at Quest Nutrition said. "No one should have to give up the taco flavor they love, or the macros they want."
Featuring the flavors of crunch taco shells and toppings, the chips are part of the brand’s collection that aims to pack nine time the protein of conventional chips and 75% lower net carbs in each bag, the company said.

In addition, tortilla style protein chips are baked instead of fried, and available in loaded taco, chili lime, nacho cheese and ranch flavors.
