Safe + Fair Food is expanding its line of products, which cater to those who seek safe foods for those who suffer from nut allergies, with a line of granola.
The brand’s new launch is free from eight of the top allergens, and also is both gluten free and vegan, the company said.
"Granola is a popular food item as it is the perfect addition to cereal bowls, yogurts or ice cream, but it is a food item that people with food allergies often have to avoid. Our R&D team worked diligently to create a delicious line for the underserved community of those affected by food allergies," Will Holswort, the CEO of Safe + Fair Food, said. "We've recently launched two new product lines and are excited to continue to expand our product portfolio to cater to this growing demand.
Available in four flavors — birthday cake, blueberry cinnamon, chocolate and sweet & salty kettle — the granola is made with ancient grains and does not contain artificial ingredients.
Each of the flavors is currently available for purchase on the company’s website and sold in a 12-oz. bag that retails for $4.99. News of the products comes on the heels of the brand recently unveiling its new line of
Pea Protein chips.
