The Soulfull Project uses sales to fight hunger

CAMDEN, N.J. — Hot cereal start-up The Soulfull Project is working to fight hunger through sales of its multi-grain cereal. The company donates a serving of its 4 Grain Blend product to regional food banks for each serving sold.


The company recently attended at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, Calif., where it donated to a food bank for each sample given out, totaling 2,729 by the end of the expo. The company matched that number and is donating 5,458 servings of its 4 Grain Blend to more than 200 food banks nationwide.


The Soulfull Project’s hot cereals include such ingredients as steel cut oats, rye, quinoa, nuts, flax, chia, seeds and dried fruit. Its products include single-serving cups in cinnamon spice, blueberry almond, brown sugar pecan and tart cherry flavors, as well as multi-serving resealable bags in 4 Grain Blend and Hearty Grains and Seeds varieties. The cups retail for $2.79 and the bags retail for $4.99.
