SEATTLE -- Starbucks is launching several new bottled drinks at retailers nationwide this summer, including a new entrant into the increasingly popular cold brew coffee category.
Starbucks Cold Brew in ready-to-drink bottles will be available in select Starbucks U.S. retail stores and other retailers nationwide next month.
The U.S. ready-to-drink coffee market has been growing by double digits annually since 2011, according to the Euromonitor International. And retail sales of cold brew grew 338.9% from 2010 to 2015, Montel reports.
Bottled Starbucks Cold Brew Coffee is an unsweetened coffee with a smooth taste and subtle chocolate notes. It's made from the same Starbucks Cold Brew Blend slow-steeped in Starbucks stores for Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew and Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew.
Other new Starbucks ready-to-drink beverages for Summer 2016 include:
Bottled Starbucks Cold Brew
Starbucks Black Iced Coffee (available sweetened and unsweetened)
Bottled White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino Chilled Coffee Drink
Starbucks Doubleshot Energy Coffee (available in Spiced Vanilla and Mexican Mocha)
Starbucks Refreshers Revitalizing Energy with Coconut Water (available in Black Cherry Limeade & Peach Passion Fruit)
Starbucks Iced Espresso Classics Salted Caramel Mocha (available for a limited time in a multi-serve bottle)
Bottled Starbucks Cold Brew Coffee beverages will be available at retailers nationwide, with a suggested retail price of $3.29 per 9.5 fl. oz. single-serve bottle.
